Softcom's Lagos office spans private executive suites, an open design lab, and a boardroom, all first-fixed in a single phase. Hausba was asked to rough in the boardroom's conferencing infrastructure before the speakers, screen, and finish equipment it depends on were even in place.
The boardroom runs two wireless presenters and a pair of interactive Samsung E-Boards, switched through a Control4 controller and a Muxlab HDBaseT matrix, with a third, eighty-two-inch E-Board serving as the building's main interactive whiteboard elsewhere. Fifty-seven wireless Vitrea switches and dimmers cover the rest of the building, run alongside a separate Lutron HomeWorks processor rather than one single lighting platform.
A six-input, ten-output Aavara video-over-IP system distributes 4K sources to display zones across the building, independent of the boardroom's own dedicated switching.
Outdoor perimeter detection uses a different, tougher sensor than the rest of the building: five Optex dual-beam detectors, shielded against false triggers and adjustable from two to twelve metres, watch the grounds separately from the standard indoor motion sensors covering the interior.
