A dedicated cinema room within Villa E16 at Palm Springs Golf Estate, built around full theatrical projection, multi-channel sound and scene lighting control, planned into the villa's construction schedule at first-fix stage.
Villa E16's cinema room at Palm Springs Golf Estate is being fitted to a full theatrical specification, part of a wider villa still under construction. The audio, video and acoustic design had to be finalized and issued as a first-fix package before the room's shell was closed in.
A Sonance speaker array, in-wall, in-ceiling and surround, connects through a 13.2-channel Denon receiver to a 160-inch Screen Innovations screen and a Sony native 4K projector, with a Control4 Core Lite Halo touchscreen as the point of control for the room. Lutron RA2 Select handles the lighting, from a Pico keypad at the door to inline dimming and a run of Aurora fixtures set into the ceiling.
The acoustic treatment extends to the floor. Belgotex's S-301-ABYSS carpet was specified by name for this room, paired with fabric-finished acoustic panelling built to the room's own dimensions. Together they form the room's underfoot and wall-level acoustic surface, specified as part of the cinema fit-out itself.
