This house was built in 2019 to run as one connected system across several buildings, for a family that uses the property for both living and hosting official guests. The client got in touch in 2026 to update the technology throughout the home.
Multiple ancillary buildings needed to be part of one automation system. The scale of the property and the dual residential/official function required a system that was both technically complex and simple to operate. Most rooms are getting new controllers, Control4's Halo touchscreens, so the gym, the pool lounge, every bedroom, and the rest of the house all run the same way. Audio moves onto Sonos throughout, with a Focal system and a Naim streamer covering the outdoor spaces. The network is being replaced with Wi-Fi 7, which matters in a house with this many connected devices running at once.
Robust networking infrastructure designed to connect all ancillary buildings, enabling seamless integration of lighting and automation across the entire property. A hybrid audiovisual system was deployed to ensure optimum sound performance.
