A residential compound where lighting, security, and audio run as one system across the main house, guest chalet, and gate house.
This compound includes a main residence, a guest chalet, and a separate gate house, with a dedicated cinema, gym, games room, and salon suite built into the main house. The scope called for lighting, security, and network coverage across all three buildings, answering to a single system rather than three separate ones.
Lighting runs on Lutron HomeWorks QS, with wired Palladiom keypads and Pico keypads in nearly every room, tied back to a pair of HW P7 2-Link processors and eight QS repeaters. This gives the residence, guest chalet, and gate house a single lighting network. Motorised shades are integrated through Bond Bridge Pro rather than a native Lutron shading line, a different approach from GMA. Whole-home audio runs on Sonos paired with Sonance in-ceiling and in-wall speakers, zoned room by room, with a dedicated outdoor system for the garden and pool deck. Security is built on DSC PowerG wireless smoke and heat detection covering almost every room, managed through a Qolsys IQ Panel 4. Surveillance runs on Reolink, with fifteen cameras on the perimeter alone plus PTZ coverage at the main gate. Access is handled through an ekey fingerprint reader and 2N IP intercom, and the whole system sits on a Crestron CP4-R automation backbone with a touch panel at the foyer.
The cinema seats four across a tiered Leadcom layout, with a bass shaker built into each seat. A Sony 4K laser projector throws onto a 135-inch acoustically transparent screen, with the full speaker array, center channel, surrounds, and subwoofers, positioned behind and around it so nothing but the picture is visible. Acoustic carpet and wall panelling line the room to manage dialogue clarity and control the bass.
