A multi-zone demonstration space in Abuja: an executive lounge, a dedicated cinema, a separate media room, and a boardroom seating six to ten, run from a shared automation and network layer.
The brief covered four distinct zones under one roof, an executive lounge, a dedicated cinema, a separate media room, and a boardroom seating six to ten, each with its own daily use and audiovisual demands. Lighting, audio, video and control needed to work independently in each space while sitting on a shared network and automation layer.
The cinema runs a Dolby Atmos configuration built around a Trinnov Altitude processor and Wisdom Audio speakers, with a 4K Sony projector onto a large fixed screen. A Control4 layer ties scene control, lighting cues and access to the network together across the cinema, the media room and the boardroom rack, so a single remote or iPad interface reaches every zone. In the boardroom, a Crestron DM matrix handles presentation switching and video conferencing over its own dedicated signal path, keeping that room's collaboration tools separate from the entertainment systems next door.
Outside the boardroom, a scheduling touchscreen paired with a room availability light bar lets anyone walking past see at a glance whether the room is in use, a small addition aimed squarely at how a shared meeting space actually gets used day to day.
